OVERVIEW

The CSTC Symposium Memorial Scholarship offers financial support to cover the registration fee for CSTC members attending the 2026 Summer Symposium. Created in memory of Eva Rosenberg and Nikki LeBrun, two impactful CSTC leaders, the scholarship allows CSTC Chapters and individuals to contribute funds in their honor to support fellow members. 

QUALIFICATIONS

This scholarship is open to CSTC members who need financial assistance to attend the Summer Symposium. All information submitted will remain confidential and will only be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee. 

APPLICATION TIMELINE AND PROCESS

Application Timeline:

Submit the online application by February 27, 2026. Recipients will be notified in mid March 2025

Application Criteria:

• Applicant is a tax professional operating their own tax preparation business for 3 years or less, with 100 clients or fewer.
• Applicant is looking to expand their service offerings to include more complex tax returns, such as business returns, rental properties, within the next 12-18 months.

Applicants who meet the above criteria should submit a brief statement (100 words or fewer) explaining how they meet the eligibility requirements for committee review.

PRESENTATION OF THE SCHOLARSHIP

The committee will make a general announcement regarding the scholarship program during the 2026 Summer Symposium; however, to maintain privacy and confidentiality, the names of the scholarship recipients will not be publicly disclosed. 

Please note the scholarship only covers the cost of the registration for the 2026 Summer Symposium. Any expenses not included in the cost of registration will be the responsibility of the recipient.
