Get Ready for Tax Season with a Last-Minute Update Everyone is talking about the new tax law, but the returns we'll be preparing this tax season are under the old law. So we need to be sure we're up-to-date with the law we'll be using to prepare this season's returns. We also need to be aware of some provisions of about the new law that may affect our clients' planning. Ruth and Shari will cover both aspects. They'll review the highlights of the changes affecting 2017 returns so we can prepare our returns efficiently and accurately. In addition, they'll mention some of the changes in the new law that our clients need to know in order to plan for next year. Refreshing our knowledge of the old law and potential planning opportunities of the new law will get us ready to go into our tax season!
