Afternoon Workshop Topic
The Workshop will begin with the Introduction to Audits. What a tax preparer could, should, and may do to help your client when your clients come to you for help. After the program on Audits, we will be lookin at the Schedule A - Itemized Deductions and what is left for deductions under the Federal Law changes.

Dinner Meeting Topic
Dinner meeting will highlight the Schedule B - Interest and ordinary Dividends. We will look at the taxability of the interest and dividends and where to report the interest and Dividends, Accrued Interest, Original Issue Discount (OID), Tax-Exempt Interest, Amortizable Bond Premium, United States Savings Bonds, Qualified Dividends, Non-dividend Distributions, Foreign Accounts and Trusts, Net Investment Income Tax, and more.

Eugene started doing taxes 23 years ago at H and R Block. After 8 years at Block, he formed Tax Matters Inc. in San Francisco with 2 partners, a business that they sold in 2014. He then moved to Sonora CA and opened ERO Tax in 2015. He passed the EA exam in 2001 and has been a speaker for over 15 years.
