Don’t just “think about it” - Let’s do it! Join us as we go through the steps to write your WISP-Written Information Security Plan- Whether you’re looking to create your initial one or tips to improve an existing WISP. Protecting Taxpayer Data and your own business is vital and the WISP is a mandate. IRS issued new guidance again just recently. We will also reference Pubs 1345, 4557, 4707 and 5293 and what to do in case of a data breach.

Patty Barron has been preparing tax returns since 1990 and a member of CSTC for 15 years. She is the Vice President/Education Chair of the Orange County CSTC Chapter. Patty has a passion for sharing information, she has presented topics at live local chapter events, annual update training and the state conference. Her favorite saying is “Youbdont have to be the library, just the librarian’”. Patty was a 911 Dispatcher for over 30 years. When it's not Tax Season, her hobbies include traveling with Ernie, going to Disneyland and lounging at the local Starbucks.
