Topic: 

Part One:
In part 1 of this Central Valley Roundtable- What Would You Do?, we will be exploring different tax issues, where to correctly report taxability on the 1040 (or not), and what to be considering when you are presented with certain tax issues. Would your solution to a tax problem change if it were a personal or a business issue and why? We will also be discussing special issues related to PERS and CalPERS retirements and pensions.

Part Two:
In part 2 of this Central Valley Roundtable- What Would You Do?, we will be continuing our topics and discussions from part 1 of the roundtable with emphasis on issues regarding the IRS form 1099 and all tax issues involving ITINS. Our qualified speakers with a wide variety of tax experience will help guide the discussion.

George Fakhouri, CPA & other qualified speakers
George Fakhouri is a C.P.A. in private practice for over 40 years. George holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Santa Clara University, graduate work in Accounting and Tax at San Jose State and Golden Gate University. He is Past President of the California Society of Tax Consultants and Central Valley Chapter of the California Society of Tax Consultants. George has been a speaker and moderator of the Alamo Tax Retreat for the past 15 years as well as speaking at the annual Updates for the Central Valley. Mr. Fakhouri has been a guest speaker on taxation for several tax organizations and for the general public over the years.
