Topic: 

Recap of Tax Season 2022, the good & the Bad. Avoiding mathematical errors even with a computer. Missing data and how to catch it before filing. Do you need Errors & Omissions Policies? This course is designed to cover common errors and mistakes made by tax professionals. It will look at Electronic Filing Errors, Mathematical errors and Missed data errors. I will demonstrate real case scenarios, what those issues looked like and how those errors were discovered and the corrective action taken. Finally, we will review Errors and Omissions policy. How important are they?

Mike is an Enrolled Agent and has been in the tax preparation business for nearly 40 years.  He is the owner of Michael A. Tullio Financial Services, located on Mission Gorge Road in San Diego California. Mike up until recently was a Senior Tax Content Analyst at Intuit, makers of Turbo Tax, ProSeries and Lacerte. He is an Enrolled Agent. He is a member of the National Society of Tax Preparers (NSTP) and a member of the California Society Tax Consultants (CSTC).
