Description:
As preparers, one of the most valuable services we can provide to clients is offering tax planning. The preparation of tax returns only offers a few methods in which to lower a client's tax liability. And with the improving technology, preparers will need to develop new ways to stand out from the DIY tax prep industry. During this course we will discuss tax reduction strategies for individuals and retirees, learn techniques on how to identify tax-saving opportunities on the 1040 and discuss how TCJA and theSecure Act affect tax planning strategies.
