Topic:
California Campfire Stories. All the changes coming out of both Washington DC and Sacramento can start to read like a spooky campfire story! Watch out, Campers! Is that a dreaded EDD audit hiding in the shadows? Is it the rustle of the wind, or PTET waiting to pounce? Who could forget the spectral RDP that haunts our beautiful coastlines? And, of course the famous La Llorona, who wails for her expanded CalEIC! Bundle up as we gather round the campfire to tell tall tales of nonconformity and new legislation and so much S’more!
Presenter:
Shannon Hall, EA
Shannon Hall has been working in the tax industry for almost a decade, though her interest in taxes truly began when, as a child, she would play with the tax forms at the library. She studied classical theatre at a conservatory in Los Angeles, so it was really just a matter of time before she joined the tax business. Throughout her career Shannon has prepared taxes from her kitchen table to H&R Block, where she was an office manager and instructor, before finally settling into a fabulous office in Long Beach, CA. She has been a speaker at many CSTC Chapters and the Summer Symposium. More than anything Shannon strives to make tax education fun and engaging.
