Topic: 

This course presents the tax considerations, benefits, and drawbacks of various business entities. We will discuss the formation, maintenance and dissolution of common entities such as LLCs, Corporations (C and S), and Partnerships (General and Limited); as well as, some less common entity structures, like IC-DISC’s and captive insurance companies.

David E. Foate, JD, LLM
David Foate is the Principal Director of PFS Law, APC where he concentrates his practice on the tax complexities inherent in his clients’ US and international business affairs; including, federal, state, and local tax controversies, audits, reassessments and tax related civil litigation. David also works pro-actively with business owners, their tax preparers, and their families to develop customized practical solutions that best accommodate their general business needs as well as their long-term trust and estate planning goals.
