Learning Objectives •What are workpapers? •Workpapers as quality control •How to use adobe pdf to organize and retain client accounting and tax information •How to organize your workpapers •Using an office wide naming system for workpapers •Reviewing a tax return using the electronic workpapers

Jeff began his career as a Tax Professional in 2004 in Orange County, CA. His first 5 years he spent as a freelance bookkeeper and tax preparer working on a per-diem basis preparing tax returns for CPA firms. He spent the next 8 years working in CPA and EA firms as a Staff Accountant and worked his way up to Tax Manager before starting his own practice in Escondido in June 2017. He has been very fortunate to work under some amazing Tax Professionals and is grateful for the mentorship he received during those years. He is an Enrolled Agent and a member of NAEA, CSEA, and CSTC. He has been married for 9 years to his wife Maria and they have a 7 old son Howard. Jeff moved to San Diego in October 2017. He enjoys surfing, fishing, and mountain biking in his free time.
