hristella has been with the Internal Revenue Service for 36 years. She bega
n her career with the IRS at the Fresno processing center as a Tax Examiner
. She has worked as a Customer Service Representative and as a Tax Complian
ce officer in the Examination Division. She is the relationship manager for
Tax Professional, Payroll organizations, Industry, Small Business and Trad
e Associations. She also works in conjunction with other Federal, State, lo
cal government agencies and Limited English Proficiency program including t
he Underserve community.

Daniel M. Maiuro, CPA, M
ST Senior Dan Maiuro is a CPA and a senior program analyst for TAS Systemic
Advocacy and is responsible for the research of various exam related issue
s and elevating recommendations for change to the IRS to better protect tax
payer rights. Prior to coming to the TAS, Dan was in private practice for o
ver 10 years assisting individuals and business entities with return prepar
ation and representation.

Marc is a Technical Assistant to the Advocate in the Franch
ise Tax Board’s (FTB's) Taxpayers' Rights Advocate’s Office. He has been a
member of the Advocate’s Office since December 2015. Marc started with the
FTB in 1989, working as an Auditor and Reviewer. He has held staff position
s for divisional budgeting as well as acting as a business lead for FTB's A
ctivity Based Costing project where he learned the operations of the depart
ment. Marc’s professional experience began in public accounting. He has wor
ked in general practice with a multi-service firm and as a financial audito
r of non-profit organizations. Marc earned his Certified Public Accountant
in 1992. He graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Sci
ence Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and a
minor in Industrial Technology.
