Description:

Divorce is still part of life and taxes. While the tax code has changed, we deal with legacy issues and child credits, which will become more valuable than ever, starting in July of 2021. As a tax professional, you are positioned to be a valuable resource for your client ... if you can figure out who your client really is (we cover that as well). Learn about court cases, fact patterns, and strategies that apply to today's couples going through a divorce. We also talk about those getting married -- that is a potentially complex tax issue as well.
