Topic:

Cruz will discuss issues of working with the Internal Revenue Service. He will talk about the 2020 tax season as it related to the many issues of Covid. There were new issues to deal with regarding whether client received stimulus, PPP loans taxability, Loan forgiveness. Paid sick leave credit and many other issues.

Cruz Saavedra has the following education: Bachelor of Science-Accounting at the University of Southern California, LA; Doctor of Law at Cornell University, New York. Cruz lectures for many organizations. He has Tax Litigation experience, Former Trial Attorney, Court Admissions: United States Tax Court, US District Court for all California Districts, and Ninth Circuit Court. Cruz's practice limited to tax controversies with the Internal Revenue Service, Franchise Tax Board, State Board of Equalization, and Employment Development Department; includes audits, appeals, criminal investigations, and collection matters.
