In 2012 when the Fresh Start Initiative started to impact the tax problem solving world, many practitioners struggled to determine how the Fresh Start Initiative would impact the installment agreement program, the offer in compromise program, availability of tax lien relief, and innocent and injured spouse relief programs. This class will explore fresh starts that have been enhanced by the Fresh Start Initiative as well as other fresh start opportunities such as bankruptcy. This class will provide updated material and real life examples of fresh starts that are available to taxpayers.
