Presenter: Lane McKellar, EA , Past President CSTC Temecula Valley Chapter

Lane started preparing taxes in 1989. His very first return included rentals with an NOL. From his very first tax class he recognized this profession was something for which he had a passion. After working with a large nationwide firm for 7 years, he had an opportunity work with a company that created tax software. For 15 years, Lane programmed areas of software that addressed interest, dividends, capital gains, rentals, K-1’s, schedule A, investment interest expenses, credits and state returns. When the programming season slowed, Lane continued to prepare returns. In 2012, Lane opened his own firm in Canyon Lake. Lane earned his Bachelor’s Degree in finance from SDSU in 1981 and has been enrolled to Practice before the IRS since September 1998. Lane has been a member of CSTC since 1997. He is served as President of the Temecula Valley Chapter of CSTC 2014-2015.

Selina is a practicing attorney and enrolled agent in the Temecula Valley and has been in the field of taxation for over 30 years. She later went back to law school to earn her Juris Doctor degree, graduating number one in her class and passing theCalifornia State Bar on her first attempt.She served two terms as Board President of the Temecula CSTC Chapter.Currently serves as Treasurer on the SW Inn Of Court Board, is a member of SW Riverside Bar Association, has been a member of the CSEA Palomar ChapterBoard for several years and currently serves as Vice President, is a member and15 year Advisor to Professional Women's Roundtable and has served on other organization boards and committees in various capacities.Her primary areas of practice are Taxation, Wills & Trusts, Business andNon-Profits. She is admitted to practice before California courts and US Tax Court.
