Forms 1041 and 1040 have a lot in common, but it is the differences you need to understand to prepare an accurate Form 1041 and 541.Learn about the most common differences:- Step up in basis- Capital gains- Rental real estate income and depreciation- Principal residence- Charitable donations- Deductions (after TCJA)- Allocation of deductions to tax exempt income- Income distribution deduction (after TCJA)- Schedule K-1
