Presenter(s):
Vincent Alexander, Tax Advisor, Former IRS Agent
Vincent is a seasoned tax professional whose career spans more than eighteen years with the Internal Revenue Service, where he served as an auditor in both the Small Business/Self‑Employed (SB/SE) division and the Large Business & International (LB&I) division. His tenure inside the IRS provided him with a rare, comprehensive understanding of how the agency evaluates taxpayer compliance, develops issues, and approaches complex business structures. Over nearly two decades, he examined a wide range of cases—from closely held businesses and high‑income individuals to multinational entities with intricate international reporting requirements.Throughout his IRS career, Vincent became known for his ability to navigate the most challenging areas of tax law. His work included detailed examinations of flow‑through entities, corporate returns, multi‑year audits, and cases involving cross‑border transactions, controlled foreign corporations, and international information reporting. He developed a reputation for thorough issue analysis, clear communication, and a balanced approach that upheld the law while ensuring taxpayers were treated fairly. His experience in both SB/SE and LB&I allowed him to see firsthand how the IRS identifies risk, prioritizes cases, and applies its internal procedures to reach accurate and defensible conclusions.Vincent’s transition to private practice brought with it a mission: to use his deep federal experience to help taxpayers avoid unnecessary conflict, resolve issues efficiently, and strengthen compliance before problems arise. He understands not only the tax code, but the internal logic behind IRS decision‑making—knowledge that empowers clients to make informed choices and approach audits with confidence rather than fear. Whether guiding a small business through an examination, advising on complex reporting obligations, or helping a client prepare documentation that anticipates IRS concerns, Vincent brings clarity, strategy, and calm to situations that often feel overwhelming.Today, Vincent applies his IRS‑honed expertise to support individuals and businesses seeking trustworthy, experienced guidance. His work is grounded in the belief that taxpayers deserve transparency, respect, and an advocate who understands the system from the inside. With a blend of technical skill, practical insight, and a client‑centered approach, Vincent continues to build a practice focused on integrity, accuracy, and long‑term financial confidence.
