Topic:
We will be going on a journey to uncover the mystery of Schedule K-1 for Partnerships (Form 1065), S Corp Shareholders (Form 1120S) and Beneficiaries (Form 1041). The goal of this workshop will be to help provide insights on how to apply Schedule K-1 information to the taxpayer's personal income tax Federal Form 1040. There will be time for questions, observations, and insights shared during our workshop.

David A. Eastis, CRTPDavid A. Eastis, CRTP, received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of La Verne in 1980, and Master of Arts in Theology Degree from Bethany Seminary in 1984. David completed his accounting degree in 2003 from Indiana University, South Bend, Indiana. In 2003, David moved back to California to work in the family tax and bookkeeping business located in Brea, California. Recently, David was able to semi-retire in November 2024. David joined the California Society of Tax Consultants in 2004. As an active member of CSTC he has served as Secretary for the Greater Long Beach Chapter. In 2012, he completed a 4-year term serving as Secretary for the Society Board of Directors, served as 1st Vice President for the Society Board of Directors in 2014, served as CSTC President in 2015 and 2016, served as Past President for 2017 and 2018, and served as Region Three Director in 2021 and 2022. David also received the 2024 CSTC Member of the Year Award. He currently is serving as President of the Orange County Chapter of CSTC. David and his wife, Ann, live in La Habra, CA with their dog, Archie.
