Description:
While you were busy during Tax Season, the IRS provided a lot of guidance you might have missed. We will review the guidance for the new OBBBA deductions, an update on Trump Accounts, and an urgent opportunity to apply for refunds for your clients that expire on July 10, 2026. We will also review what we need to be aware of for the rest of 2026.

Larry Pon, CPA, PFS, CFPR, EA, USTCO, AEP Lawrence Pon is a Certified Public Accountant, Personal Financial Specialist, Certified Financial Planner, Enrolled Agent, United States Tax Court Practitioner, and Accredited Estate Planner in Redwood Shores, CA• Mr. Pon has been in practice since 1986 and speaks regularly to tax professionals on the latest tax planning and preparation topics nationally. Mr. Pon teaches Income Tax at College of San Mateo. Mr. Pon received his BS in Business Administration from UC Berkeley and MS in Taxation from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.
