Brass Tax - Then and Now! Karen Joyner presents to us further defining information on the "Tax Cuts and Jobs Act" with a "special guest" appearance by David Gorsich. This is an educational duo you won't want to miss!

Presenters: Karen Joyner, EA and David Gorsich - tax guy extraordinaire

Karen Joyner, EA started preparing taxes in 1988, opening her own practice in 1993, and earning her Enrolled Agent’s license in May 1995. She is active in local chapters of many professional organizations, including serving as President of the San Diego East County Chapter of CSTC, chairperson for CSTC fall workshops and Running Start, and CSTC society chair for Summer Symposium for several years. She has served as director and on education committee for the CSEA San Diego chapter.

He passed the EA exam in 1979, and decided to make a career of taxes. He joined CSTC (then ISTC) in September of 1981, and did his first tax workshop late that year. In 1982 he joined CSEA, and has been a member of both groups ever since. In 1983 he decided to put 20 years of teaching experience to work in his new field. Over the years he has done hundreds of talks in 34 different States and five foreign countries. He did 16 years with CSEA’s prestigious Super Seminar and 18 years with Brass Tax Presentations. He is known for his humorous approach to difficult problems, and for inventive ways of looking at challenging situations. He likes to say “With taxes, if you don’t laugh - - - you’re gonna have to cr
