We will be going on an adventure to uncover the mystery of Schedule K-1 for Partnerships (Form 1065), Shareholders (Form 1120S), and Beneficiaries (Form 1041).We will take steps to determine the purpose of Schedule K-1 for our clients’ tax returns.In addition, we will:
•Unpack sources of income in box 1-11
•Report types of deductions in box 12-13
•Note any self-employment earnings in box 14
•Discover any credits in box 15
•Report any international transactions in box 16
•Report any Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT) items in box 17
•Report any Tax-Exempt Income in box 18•Report any Distributions in box 19
•And note any other items of information in box 20.
There will be time for questions, observations, and insights shared during our workshop.

David A. Eastis, CRTP, BA, MA
Mr. Eastis holds various degrees. His BA is in the area of accounting from Indiana University, South Bend. Other degrees held are from the University of La Verne and Bethany Theological Seminary. David currently has a practice located in Brea, California. One of his specialties is dealing with Non-Profit Corporations. As an active member of CSTC, he has held numerous positions of leadership including state president of CSTC and positions within individual chapters. David is a frequent speaker at the annual CSTC Summer Symposium. David has been an annual speaker in our own Greater Long Beach Chapter sharing his expertise on numerous topics.
