Description:
Reasonable Compensation for shareholder employees is required of most Corporations, but what is considered reasonable? This webinar will answer that question by exploring the factors that the IRS considers when examining returns for compliance. As a preparer, you and your client may each be subject to a penalty of $5000 if reasonable compensation is not included on the Corporation tax return. How can you be sure that you are meeting the requirements for the IRS and local wage laws? How do you advise the client of what may be a proper amount? This webinar will provide insight and suggest resources that are available through professional organizations to assist the tax professional in their advisory capacity.
