Dinner Meeting Course Description - 2025 Federal Update:
This course reviews federal tax law changes from OBBB and 2025 tax law year updates to forms or tax provisions. For individuals: the new $6,000 senior deduction, No Tax on Tips, No Tax on Overtine, Deduction for Car Loan Interest, changes to the Child Tax credit, sunset of energy credits, increase in the SALT limitation, and more. For business tax: QBI, 100% Bonus Depreciation, R & D expensing, PTET, Energy Credits for business and rentals, etc. We'll also cover updates to the federal disaster loss deductions.

Learning Objectives:
1. Review 2025 federal tax law OBBB, including any late-breaking legislation.
2. Learn expected rules and processes for implementing any new tax law changes.
3. Develop up-to-date 2025 tax planning moves for your individual and business clients.
4. Understand the effect of these changes for 2025 and future years.

Presenter(s):

Mike Tullio, EA
Mike has been in the tax preparation business for nearly 40 years. He is the owner of Tullio Financial Services, LLC, located on Mission Gorge Road in San Diego California. His business mainly focuses on Individual and Small Partnership tax returns. Mike up until recently was a Senior Tax Content Analyst at Intuit, makers of Turbo Tax, ProSeries and Lacerte. Mike has nationally written tax articles and has conducted live and Webinar speaking engagements. He is an Enrolled Agent and member of the National Society of Tax Preparers (NSTP), the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA) the California Society Tax Consultants (CSTC) and the California Society of Enrolled Agents (CSEA). Mike is married and lives in the Clairemont Area of San Diego. He and his wife Janet have two grown sons. He and his wife like to travel in their RV and he also serves on the Board of Directors of the San Diego Imperial Council of Scouting America.
