Topics:

Individual Tax Law Updates

We will discuss the majority of important tax law changes for 2018 and review some of the newer laws from the last couple of years. In addition we will discuss the potential changes for individuals as imposed by the recent Tax Cuts & Jobs Act (TCJA) legislation, and the effects these changes could have on your clients. All of this while becoming familiar with the Tax Book’s organization of thorough research answers.

Business Tax Law Updates

We will discuss the majority of important tax law changes for 2018 and review some of the newer laws from the last couple of years. In addition we will discuss the potential changes for businesses as imposed by the recent Tax Cuts & Jobs Act (TCJA) legislation, and the effects these changes could have on your client’s business (and yours!). All of this while becoming familiar with the Tax Book’s organization of thorough research answers.

John C Keil, EA & David J. Keil, EA

John C. Keil, EA
John Keil is a former major bank Vice-President who reinvented himself as a tax practitioner in 1997. He became an Enrolled Agent in 2001 and began conducting educational workshops for CSTC shortly thereafter. He attended California State University Fullerton where he majored in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and Economics. His tax practice is in Placentia and specializes in small business and individual taxation.

David J. Keil, EA
David Keil is a graduate of San Diego State University and a former Senior District Executive with the Boy Scouts of America. After transitioning into work as a financial service representative for a major credit union, he made the decision to become a tax professional. Joining his father's firm and following in his footsteps, David became an Enrolled Agent in 2015, is serving as an active CSTC chapter board member, and is just beginning his role as an educational speaker.



David A Eastis, CRTP
David Eastis has been teaching classes and conducting seminars for CSTC since he joined CSTC in 2003. He obtained his accounting degree from Indiana University, South Bend, specializing in taxes and not-for-profit organizations.
