Description:

As preparers, one of the most valuable services we can provide to clients is offering tax planning. The preparation of tax returns only offers a few methods in which to lower a client's tax liability. And with the improving technology, preparers will need to develop new ways to stand out from the DIY tax prep industry, During this course, we will:
1. Discuss tax reduction strategies for individuals and retirees.
2. Learn techniques on how to identify tax-saving opportunities on the 1040.
3. Discuss how TCJA and the Secure Act affect tax planning strategies.
