Topic:

Current S-Corp issues related to tax, PTET, compliance, QBI, shareholder reimbursement plans, reasonable compensation, shareholder basis, entity dissolution, balance sheets, shareholder health insurance and more. Plus, tax planning for S corps. conversion from C-Corp to S, asset transfers, changes in shareholder %, shareholder loan compliance and the latest IRS S corp targets.
1. Develop comprehensive plans and processes for managing clients' S Corp compliance matters including reasonable compensation.
2. Recognize expense and deduction issues unique to S Corp's and how to maximize the tax savings.
3. Identify, advise, and correctly report changes to S Corp shareholder ownership, changes from another business entity converting to an S Corp, and selling or closing an S Corp.
4. Demonstrate how the business side of S Corps pass through and impact the taxes, loss limitations, and basis considerations of shareholders. Plus receive valuable tax planning for PTET

Presenter:

Jane Ryder, EA, CPA
Ms. Ryder has been providing tax preparation, accounting services, and tax collection resolution services since 1980. She runs her San Diego CPA firm, Brass Tax Ryder Professional Group, and writes and speaks on many income tax, business compliance and accounting topics. She is currently licensed with the California State Board of Accountancy and with the internal revenue service as an Enrolled Agent. Jane also consults on tax, accounting, and compliance matters for Corporations, LLC's, Partnerships, and Trusts. She also specializes in IRS and state agencies collection problems, payment plans, audit representation, audit appeals, offers and compromise and other issues.
