Come learn about updates to the ethical rules and landscape in our post-loving world, including tips about how to properly identify your client, around conflicts of interest and effectively use waivers.

Kevan P McLaughlin is the founder and managing partner of McLaughlin Legal, APC. His practice focuses on all aspects of Federal and California Tax Law, with a special emphasis on representing taxpayers and tax professionals in civil and criminal tax litigation and controversy cases. In addition to his practice, Kevan is an adjunct professor at San Diego State University where he teaches "Ethics for Accountants". Kevan is also past Chair of the California State Bar Young Tax Lawyers Section and San Diego County Bar Association Taxation Section and is the current Chair of the California Lawyers Association Tax Procedure & Litigation.
