Topic: Tax Cuts & Job Acts Tips, Strategies and Tricks, Section 199A

On December 22, 2017, the President signed into law H.R.1, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA). TCJA revises numerous provisions in the Tax Code, with one of the more significant changes being the introduction of the 20% deduction for domestic qualified business income, also known as the Section 199A deduction.

This session will address the following aspects of the new law:
1.    Changes affecting individuals & business entities
2.    What the changes mean for your clients
3.    Mechanics of the Qualified Business Income Deduction

The TCJA increases the nonconformity between federal and California tax law, and these differences will also be explored during this 2 CE hour presentation.
