Program Details:

Information will be presented regarding the deduction associated with the flow through income from certain pass-through business activities such as sole proprietorships, LLC's, Partnerships, S-Corporations and Rental income. The new deduction is for those businesses not organized as C-Corp and is kThis is known as Sec 199A deduction.

Speaker:

Frank Farfan, RTP

Frank Farfan has been a registered tax preparer since 1984, initially working for a small independent tax preparation company for eight years. He first became a member of CSTC approximately twenty-eight years ago. Frank obtained his Bachelor’s of Arts Degree from California State University, Long Beach and his Master of Science Degree from California State University, Los Angeles. Since his retirement as a School Psychologist in June of 2007, he has been a fulltime tax preparer with his office located in Hawaiian Gardens. Although most of his clients submit personal returns, he has a number of clients who file partnership returns, LLC’s and S-Corp returns.
